Isabella Sterwart Gardner Museum Interface
The Isabella Stewart Gardner is a unique Museum experience located in the heart of Boston. The museum itself represents the personal collection of artwork from Miss Gardner and it's set up in a 3 floor house environment. One of the problems to address with the interface was the lack of information while also enhance the overall experience.
This is a interface developed for the isabella stewart Gardner museum to help tourists and visitors navigate the lists of artwork and be able to take with them information about specific pieces of art they're interested in. The design choices uses a dark tone that reflects clearly the ambiance of the museum itself, and uses classic serif typography to carry through the timeless space and revive the time period of the Gardner. Features include navigation, filtering, adding, printing and rating system. Engaging the user is key, so the interface use smooth transitions and basic feedback interaction, and to reward them a picture can be taken at the end of the experience to take as a small souvenir.
